Floor Plan Drawing
A floor plan shows the location of walls, windows and doors, fixtures and fittings, balconies and patios/ terraces, room names and floor levels (relative levels), dimensions between walls and wall thicknesses, wall construction material, stairways and changes in floor levels. Floor plans may also show position of vertical services ducts and plumbing stacks, lift shafts and voids. The floor plan should also show the north point and scale of the drawing.
Floor plans are useful to help design furniture layout, wiring systems, and much more. They're also a valuable tool for real estate agents and leasing companies in helping sell or rent out a space.
